Living with Elephants and Rhinos
Situated an hour and a half from Harare, Zimbabwe this program is focused on the protection and care of seven black rhinos, three white rhino and three elephants. Experience a hands-on approach and learn the day-to-day life of working in wildlife conservation. This program makes a real difference towards conservation efforts in Zimbabwe.
Undertake hands-on work with these amazing animals and gain experience in game park management, anti-poaching and wildlife monitoring. Volunteers will also have an opportunity to get involved with community development and education projects, teaching local communities and children about the importance of preserving wildlife and the environment.

Accommodation And Menu
Rest your head near the reserves biggest lake.
Your will be comfortably accommodated while volunteering. Your group size will be a maximum of 12 volunteers. Rooms are shared and the furnishings are comfortable single beds with bedding provided (duvets, pillows and extra blankets for winter!). Showers and toilet facilities are shared, and hot water is supplied. Power sockets for electrical items are available in communal areas.
**Room configuration is solely at the discretion of management.
Meals:
Three home cooked meals are provided daily on a self-serve basis. Vegetarian and limited vegan options are available upon request. Should you have any dietary requirements or food allergies it is important that you let us know before you arrive. Please note we are unable to cater for very specific dietary needs (for example gluten, dairy or wheat intolerance) so should you need them you will be required to bring any specialist foods along with you. If you bring these foods, our chefs will be able to prepare these for you alongside other volunteer’s standard meals.
Your water is pumped from a borehole and is safe and clean for drinking.
